Overview

The theme of the Great Silk Road immediately draws in our minds an endless desert, camels, merchants loaded with goods, who travel an endless caravan through Asian cities. Its history is much richer and more amazing than we can imagine - cities were built and devastated on the way, whole states appeared.

The Great Silk Road left its imprint on our country as well. Uzbekistan is amazing not only for its hospitality, striking architecture and special oriental flavor. The country boasts unique historical monuments and artifacts. Many of the state's achievements have happened thanks to its unique location in a picturesque oasis, which, by a lucky chance, found itself in the very center of the Great Silk Road.
